The UK Post Study Work Visa Extension – 2019
The UK Government has recently announced the re-introduction of its “Graduation route” rule which used to be existing back in 2012. This Rule will allow international or overseas students to stay back in the UK & avail of the benefits of work visas after the study.
The Post study work visa will be applicable to all the international students starting their sessions from 2020-21 & also students become eligible after completing their respective courses in 2020-21 as well will be benefited by the rule introduced. Successful completion of the course at undergraduate (bachelor) or above level from a recognised institute is all needed.
Previously, graduates from Bachelor’s or master’s degrees were allowed to look for an opportunity a maximum of 4 months. A master’s in UK is fast-paced. It’s typically for 1 year. Now, by the introduction of this rule, the International students can get a time of 2 years to find a long term employment to sustain over.
