British Columbia PNP Tech Draw 2022 – Issues 102 Invitations to Apply For Canada PR
British Columbia has conducted a tech draw via its PNP program on 4th January 2022. They have issued invitations for 102 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination under four categories of BC streams. The cut-off score under this category is 80 points.
The four different categories with their minimum score are represented below:
- Skill Immigration – Skilled worker stream with a minimum score of 80
- Skill Immigration – International graduate stream with a minimum score of 80
- Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled worker stream with a minimum score of 80
- Express Entry British Columbia – International graduate stream with a minimum score of 80
The tech draw of British Columbia offers tech employers to hire & retain international employees in the 29 tech professions. If you are working in any of these occupations, then you are eligible for the BC PNP Tech program.

Moreover, this program does not require an LMIA letter. Candidates with a valid job offer, which should have a duration of at least one year, can apply for this program.
PNP Streams of British Columbia
There are various streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program through which a candidate can apply for the Canada PR. British Columbia offers the following categories for the PNP stream:
- Express Entry Stream
The Express Entry streams depend on the periodic draws that allow the province to nominate potential aspirants for admission in Canada through the Express Entry immigration system. If you want to qualify under any B.C Entry Streams, you should meet the eligibility criteria for any of the approved programs of federal express entry-
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
Moreover, candidates who fall under the International Graduate stream do not need any specific job offer to qualify for the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry (EE) program.
2. Skills Immigration Stream
The Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia targets the aspirants who meet the requirements of the province’s labor & who want to settle in British Columbia. This program accepts applications of skilled workers in two ways Express Entry BC & Skills Immigration.
