Canada Express Entry PNP Draw Update 2022

Canada held its first express entry PNP draw of 2022 on 5^th January, in which they have invited a total of 392 aspirants to apply for the Canada PR. Only Provincial Nomine Program (PNP) candidates got an invitation by IRCC in this draw.

The PNP program targets candidates with the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Every aspirant needs a minimum of 808 points in this PNP draw to get invited. 600 points automatically added to the score of PNP aspirants when they got their nomination; that is why the score is higher as compared to other invitations rounds. Hence, they only need 208 points before the nomination to be qualified for receiving the invitation to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

Citizenship, immigration, & Refugee (IRCC) are conducting the PNP draws from September 2021. They are continually concentrating on aspirants of PNP because immigration officers want to trim down the backlog at least half before issuing invitations for the aspirants from other programs.
