Canada Invites 746 PNP Applicants Under New Express Entry Draw

746 Provincial Nominee Program Applicants in Canada Got Invitation under Express Entry draw to apply for permanent residence (PR) on 22nd December. This draw depends on a minimum comprehensive ranking system, and every candidate needs to accumulate a minimum of 720 Points.

Recently, IRCC paused the invitations of CEC to catch up on the backlog. Department has claimed that they want to trim down the backlog of Express entry first.

 However, Citizenship, immigration & Refugee are only holding the draws of the PNP program from 15th September 2021. And here is the list of draws –

One Year without Skilled Worker Programs

Canada has not invited candidates from Federal Skilled Trades Program or Federal Skilled Worker from 23rd December 2020 due to travel restrictions. The main aim of IRCC is to focus on admitting the applicants who were already in Canada.

However, IRCC focuses on the aspirants of Inland. They are given permanent residency to the Temporary residence applicants.

In 2021, 25 PNP express entry draws were held by the Canadian Government in which a total of 14,778 applicants got the invitations to apply for the PR. During the same period, Canada (IRCC) also held 17 CEC draws that invited 99,653 candidates.

How does Canada Express Entry work?

Canadian Immigration authority has created an express entry program which is an immigration system that was started on 1st January 2015 that manages the applications of the Federal Skilled Trades Program & Federal Skilled Worker Program, etc.
