Manitoba PNP EOI Draw Update
On 16thย December 2021, Manitoba invited 349 Immigration Candidates to its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) under Express of Interest (EOI) Profiles.
There were three draws conducted, under this scheme, out of which 296 immigrants were invited as โskilled workers in Manitobaโ in its first draw with a cut-off score of 447; 13 immigrants were invited as โskilled workers overseasโ in its second draw with a cut-off score of 712, and 40 immigrants were invited with no cut-off under โInternational Education Streamโ.
Amongst the three draws, 64 Profiles were invited under the Express Entry immigration system.
It is possible to apply for immigration without PNP, and receive an invitation for permanent residence under the Express Entry system, but the advantage of receiving the invitation in the PNP draw is to attain 600 additional CRS points, which will make certain that you will receive the invitation by the province.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is the only immigration program organized and managed by the Manitoba Province. If you are interested to receive an invitation from Manitoba province, you need to register your profile under Expression of Interest (EOI). You will be likely to receive the invitation under Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Worker in Overseas Streams from the Manitoba Province. Then, Manitoba ranks an individualโs profile out of 1000 points depending on various factors on the basis of your profile.
Eligibility of various streams under Manitoba PNP
1)ย ย Skilled Worker in Manitoba:
Temporary Foreign Worker and International Student Graduates who are registered as full-time employee for at least 6 months in a company that is located in Manitoba are eligible to apply.
Those International Students Graduates who have completed their graduation from any province other than Manitoba must be registered as a full-time employee for a minimum of one year in a company that is located in Manitoba before applying for the draw.
2)ย ย Skilled Worker Overseas:
In this category, the candidate must need to clarify one of the following points:
a. ย Any strong connection of Family or Friends who can support and must be residing in Manitoba.
b.ย ย Any previous work experience or education in the Manitoba Province
3)ย ย International Education Stream:
There are three different categories under which a student can apply for this program, they are as follows:
a. ย The Graduate Internship Pathway: Under this category, one must need to demonstrate that an individual has completed their Master/Ph.D. from a registered DLI institute in Manitoba; however, a job offer is not mandatory.
b.ย ย The career Employment Pathway: Under this category, one must need to demonstrate that an individual has completed their Master/Ph.D. from a registered DLI institute in Manitoba; however, one-year job experience is mandatory.
c.ย The International Student Entrepreneur Pilot Pathway:ย The candidate needs to have completed their graduate program from Manitoba. Additionally, one needs to demonstrate that he/she is 51% owner in the Business located in Manitoba and needs to be working as a senior manager for a duration of 6 months before applying.
