Recent Alberta PNP Draw Announced Least Cut Off Score since November 2021
Alberta PNP Draw which took place on the 8thof March, 2022 under the Express Entry Category sent out a total of 350 invites to the candidates with a score of 318 and more. However, the particulars of the draw were disclosed a week later. The cut off score for this PNP draw remained lowest since November 2021 with a drop of 22 points in comparison to the last draw which occurred on February 1, 2022. Moreover, the Alberta PNP program is now coined as AAIP (Alberta Advantage Immigration Program).
Express Entry aspirants with a low Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score have Alberta PNP as one of the best options. Nonetheless, not all the applicants with a score of 318 or more were invited under this Express Entry draw. Lot of other supplementary parameters decide whether you will be invited or not.
A total of 1350 candidate profiles have received invitation this year under the Alberta Express Entry whereas a total of 6250 candidate profiles have received invitation under both Express Entry and Opportunity stream. As of 15th March, 2022, there are roughly 500 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 850 (EOI ) Expression of Interest Applications in the Alberta Express Entry pool.
Given below are the details of the draws occurred in the year 2022 till date starting with the latest one:
On March 8, 2022, 350 Notification of Interest letters were sent to the candidates with lowest CRS of 318 points.
On February 1, 2022, 400 Notification of Interest letters were sent to the candidates with lowest CRS of 340 points.
On January 18, 2022, 350 Notification of Interest letters were sent to the candidates with lowest CRS of 346 points.
On January 5, 2022, 250 Notification of Interest letters were sent to the candidates with lowest CRS of 327 points.
Eligibility Criteria for Alberta Express Entry:
You may be eligible to receive a notification of interest (NOI) if you meet the following requirements
- An Express Entry profile which is active in the federal Express Entry system.
- Must have chosen Alberta as a proposed province to settle in the Express Entry profile.
- Hold an experience in a job profile which contributes towards economic development and diversification of Alberta.
- Possess a minimum CRS score of 300 in the Express Entry profile.
Other Features that matter in the Alberta PNP Draw:
There is no guarantee that you will receive a NOI even if you are eligible for Alberta Express Entry stream as various other factors play important role in your selection. These factors are:
- Work experience under an Alberta employer.
- A job offer from an Alberta employer.
- Degree of a Canadian post-secondary institution from Alberta.
- Having a blood relation who is a permanent resident of Alberta or a Canadian citizen residing in Alberta.
