Recent OINP Draw Sent Out 301 Invites to Francophone Workers for Permanent Residence (PR)!
OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) draw. On 28th April, 2022 allotted a total of 301 notifications of interest under French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for this draw remained between 460 and 467 points. Moreover, only the profiles which were created in express entry program in the time span of one year starting from April 28, 2021 to April 28, 2022 were taken in to account by this OINP draw.
Last francophone skilled worker OINP draw which took place on 8th of February, 2022 called 206 express entry candidate profiles for PR with the CRS cut off score in the range of 463 to 467 points. Under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, OINP has invited 507 PR aspirants in 2022 till date. All in all, just 651 candidates received invites under this stream the previous year with cut off score ranging from 455 to 467 points.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for the OINP French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, you will be required to have:
- A legal express entry profile in any of the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) or the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) programs
- Either a bachelor’s, master’s or a PhD degree in Canada or a comparable one in any other country
- CLB level of 6 in English language and CLB level of 7 in French
- An intent to dwell in Ontario upon receiving permanent residence (PR)
Application Process
As a matter of fact, there isn’t any exclusive application process for OINP French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. What OINP does is, it accesses the IRCC’s Express Entry pool to look for candidates. You will receive a notification in your IRCC online profile in case you receive an invitation to apply for any of these draws. Then after, it is mandatory for you to submit your application within 45 days of the notification.
The mean processing interval for this stream is approximately of 60 – 90 days. However, this time is subject to variation if the applications need further clarification or additional information.
