Recent Prince Edward Island PNP Draw invited 141 new applications for Permanent Residency
Prince Edward Island PNP Draw that happened on the 17th ย of March, 2022, sent out 141 fresh application invites for Permanent Residency (PR) within a couple of different categories. Out of the total of 141 invites, 130 invitations were offered to Labour and Express Entry category whereas 11 candidates were invited under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category. Cot off score for the Business invitations category was lesser by 10 point falling to 62 points in comparison with the first draw which occurred in January 2022.
Former PNP draw for the Prince Edward Island was held on February 17, 2022 under which 123 candidates were invited. The biggest PEI PNP draw till date was in October 2021 where 204 applications were invited for PR. In 2022, to until now, a total of 396 candidates have been invited by PEI PNP. The draws for Prince Edward Island PNP take place every month whose results are announced around 15th to 20th of that month.

In order for the candidates to be eligible for the Express Entry category, they must have a valid Expression of Interest (EOI) with the Prince Edward Island PEI PNP besides the Express Entry Profile in either of the three categories; Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

The requirement to apply for the Labour Impact Category is to have a valid Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the Prince Edward Island PEI PNP in any one of the streams; Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, or International Graduate. Additionally, it requires a valid employment offer along with a PEI employerโs assistance.

This category is for foreign entrepreneurs who wish to initiate or develop their own business in the Prince Edward Island. In the current draw, the minimum threshold score under the Work Permit Stream was 67 points.
