Update your Express Entry profile to increase your chances of being requested to submit an application through Express Entry.
The pool of candidates is ranked using a points-based mechanism known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). We invite the candidates with the top rankings from the pool to apply for permanent residency.
The guidelines for each invitation round are:
• posted online at the time of the invitation round
• utilized by the Express Entry system to invite candidates from the pool
• the date and time of the invitation round
• the number of candidates who will get an invitation to apply
• the immigration program(s) featured in the invitation round (some invitation rounds may only invite candidates for 1 program, for example only from Federal Skilled Trades)
Check your score and use this information to determine your chances of advancing to the next round.
