Recent British Columbia PNP Draw invited 204 applications for Permanent Residency
British Columbia PNP Draw which took place on the 8th of March, 2022 sent out a total of 204 invites for Permanent Residency (PR) under five diverse categories. A brief classification of 191 applications along with the categories and the cut off scores is described below:
SI-Skilled workers with a minimum score of 112 points received invitation
SI-International Graduate with a minimum score of 100 points received invitation
SI-Entry Level and Semi-Skilled with a minimum score of 77 points received invitation
EEBC-Skilled Workers with a minimum score of 128 points received invitation
EEBC-International Graduate with a minimum score of 114 points received invitation
In addition, the cut off score for NOC 0621 and 0631 soared by 3 points reaching to 128 under all the categories that are stated above. This cut off score made only 15 profiles out of total 160 profiles eligible to apply under the two above mentioned NOCs. The trend clearly shows that the minimum score requirement has been constantly rising in the previous four to five British Columbia PNP Draws.

Process of Application:
In order to apply for British Columbia PNP Draws, firstly you need to be qualified in any one of the above mentioned PNP categories. Then after, you must create an online profile following which you become eligible to put forward your application in one of the BC PNP Draws provided you have a higher score than the minimum.
How much time does the application take to process?
Generally, the approximate processing time for nearly four-fifth i.e.80% of the applications is anywhere from 2 to 3 months. This processing time counts from the date your entire application is submitted followed by nomination. Nevertheless, if any changes are required to your application, you might have to submit post-nomination request. These changes which have to be made to your application could be any of the following:
- Changes in Employment status post receiving an invitation in the Draw.
- Work Permit Visa Expiry within 6 months receiving the nomination.
- Structural changes in the family.
