5 QUESTIONS TO ASK BEFORE YOU SELECT A COUNTRY

Loading

Studying abroad is a really cool idea but how do you decide which country do you want to visit? Do you base such an important life decision on what people tell you? Or do you simply watch TV and find a particular country attractive and start basing your dreams on it?

In India, the youth wants to get a better future and settle abroad, but they need a little help in figuring out which is the right country for them to go to. This is because the internet gives students these days so much information that they get confused and often don’t have a particular direction to work towards.

This is why, our experts here at Rao Consultants offered to give you a basic road-map to begin with. Here are 5 important questions that you should ask before you settle on a country for your future.

  1. What is my end goal?

The first and foremost thing that you should think about is to make sure that you have outlined your final objectives. Why are you planning to go abroad? Do you want to go because there are some good colleges over there or are you simply mystified by the lifestyle?

Whatever your reason is, it is very important to first identify it and then base your research on the answer. There is no point in going through endless searches only to find out in the end that what you did in fact find doesn’t serve your purpose or justify your requirements.

  1. Am I eligible for a particular country?

Say you have settled on the big question of where to go. Don’t just start preparing your paperwork just yet. Wait on and put in some research in identifying whether you are in fact eligible for the country or not. Each country has its own set of immigration rules. You will have to check whether the rules of that country are in your favor or not.

  1. What do I have to do to build my application stronger?

First, make a list of all the things that help in building a point scale. Then add the total of existing points that you can garner based on your age, qualification and so on and so forth. Now, prepare a list of all the things for which you don’t have points or have very few.

This will help you start planning on how to build up your points score. For example, if language proficiency is an area of concern, then try to put your energies in the direction of working for IELTS and getting the highest score there. This will give you a good amount of points which will add to your overall point score.

  1. What kind of climate can I survive?

While it is very exciting to look at pictures of snow clad mountains or orange deserts, living in such conditions might be something extremely different. So, make sure that you understand the location and the climatic conditions of the place.

Please note that going abroad to study involves a lot of expenditure. If you go there once only to realize that you probably can’t live there because of physical conditions, not only will you have incurred a big financial loss, but you will also be extremely disappointed and disheartened.

  1. Will I be able to work there?

Some countries have very strict laws on allowing foreign students getting a job. This is why you have to identify whether you have enough financial capability to bear the cost of living in that country with the limited hours of work that you can do there.

If not, then perhaps it will help if you choose a country with a relatively lower cost of living so that you can manage to live happily there.

In this blog, we will attempt to help you understand the common problems faced by the candidates and solutions that they can use to overcome those problems.

We harbor the idea of studying in great universities and building the perfect future for ourselves right from the beginning. But when it is time to take action, we are at a loss of understanding how to start. It almost seems like that there are so many things put together simultaneously that it is hard to cope.

Solution

Your first step should simply research. Only focus on the course that you want to pursue. No matter where you go in the world, if you don’t follow a discipline that you truly like, you will not be happy. Don’t undertake any course just for the sake of it. Learn more about the subject and then focus on which universities offer these courses.

Once you do that, you will realize that your quantum of information has helped you in narrowing down your options. With just a handful of options to go through, you will find it very easy to find out exactly where you wish to go to and then subsequently build a life there.

Problem #2 – Information Explosion over the internet

There is so much information available on the internet that is very easy to get overwhelmed. You search one thing and that one thing leads you on and on to a thousand other things. In the end, you are not only scared of anything that you were initially so hopeful about but you end up getting extremely paranoid about everything.

However, in the end, getting all the paperwork in order makes it very difficult to undertake the whole project in the right way. This worsens the situation and the candidate ends up getting rejected.

Study Abroad Checklist and Tips

Loading

Studying Abroad is as exciting as it is daunting. If you want to make sure that your trip to a foreign land where you go to secure your higher education goes smoothly, then make sure that you take a look at this checklist and all the tips that our top Overseas Education consultants have to offer.

  1. Documentation

Even after you get your student visa, you must keep all the documents that are needed by the university in a proper dossier.

Tip: To make sure that your documents are in place and your first day at your university is absolutely simple, ask for a list of documents that the university requires when you join. Once you have the list, prepare a dossier with all the documents. Remember to get a soft copy of all these documents so that you can get a printout whenever needed.

  1. Plane Tickets

This is one thing that people often keep for the last moment. However, plane tickets need to be purchased on time. Don’t wait for the joining date to come closer for the tickets to be finally booked.

Tip: Try to book your tickets as early as 3 months in advance. This will help in ensuring that you can get the best deal and don’t end up spending a fortune on your tickets. Also make sure that you look at the different timings of the flights. It is not a wise idea to book for a plan that drops you somewhere in the middle of the night. Give yourself enough time to get acclimatized to the new surrounding before your first day.

  1. Travel Insurance

This is a mandatory requirement to obtain any kind of Visa. Some universities even mandate it for admission. Carry your travel insurance documents in a soft copy on your person at all times.

Tip: Compare the different types of student insurances before you settle on one. There is a lot of information available on the internet. Research well and then finalize an option that meets your requirement. Alternatively, you can speak to any of our expert counselors. They will give you all the options and the way to go about them.

  1. Good Walking Shoes are a must

This sounds like a very silly thing to pay attention to, but when you are in a foreign country, you’ll have to do a lot of walking. Don’t make it harder for yourself by being ill prepared.

Tip: Always make sure that you give our shoes a trial run before you take them abroad and rely on them for your daily walk. Sometimes, even the best of brands can have shoes that aren’t very comfortable for you. Give your shoes a good walk for a good number of days. Once you are sure that you are comfortable in them should you pack them for your trip.

  1. Particular medicines

If you have a particular condition that requires a particular medicine, make sure that you stock up on it.

Tip: While you can find drugs with similar compositions anywhere in the world, it might be difficult to get the exact drug of the exact company in your new country. This is why it is always advisable to pack an initial supply for a few months. When you go there, you can start searching for a similar medicine.

  1. Know the country

Every country has areas that are best not meddled with. When you travel abroad, make sure that you already have a list of places that you should probably avoid.

Tip: Contact the embassy when you reach there and get a list of all the important numbers that you might need when in an emergency or trouble. Also, do some digging and find out what are all the places within the city that have a higher crime rate and be weary of going there.

  1. Cultural and Religious sensitivity

Understand thoroughly what the various cultural and religious tickers for your country are. This is to ensure that you don’t end up hurting anyone’s emotions or disrespect anyone unknowingly.

Tip: When in doubt, be polite and apologize. Explain to the people how you are new to the place and that you genuinely did not wish to disrespect anyone. That should be helpful.

On the whole, it is a great decision to study abroad and if you can make the most of your trip in a foreign country, when you come back, if you do, you will come as a much more enriched and wiser person. Not only will you increase your prospects of work, you will also be able to grow much more as a person.

Technology in Education: Prepare yourself

Loading

We live in modern times now. Technology has been changing the face of the world that we live in at a very rapid pace. Considering this, it is evident that we have to keep ourselves updated to make sure that we can stay relevant in the market.

For everyone who is good enough, there is someone better out there. The market is cut throat and everyone is looking for better opportunities. This is probably the biggest reason why more and more Indians look to study abroad.

In most countries like USA and Canada, the use of technology in education is pretty high. Incorporating technology in every leg of education makes a student more exposed and aware of everything that the current world is heading towards.

Let us try to examine how technology plays an active role in evolving the world as we know it and the learning processes involved in our growth.

Rendering boundaries irrelevant

Using technology in the right way makes sure that physical boundaries do not restrict the process of learning. The internet has already made the world a small place. People can today talk to each other over miles, share photos, videos, files and much more in a seamless fashion. All of this is not restricted just to social media.

Today, extending the internet and various devices toward education means that you can easily access information from across the globe. A tutor from USA can deliver a lecture to someone sitting in Australia. A doctor in Germany can give his briefings to a student in Canada and much more.

Engaging Content

Let’s face it, studying isn’t very fun. This is why, using different tools, one can make the content of the syllabus available to the student in a form that allows him or her to engage with it on a different level and thereby find it interesting to work with.

Also, one has to understand that children these days have access to a lot of different kinds of technology. Giving them study material over modern and engaging mediums draws their interests and also helps in remembering such content.

Real World Issues

After student pass out from their colleges and school, they will have to work on these technologies directly. So, being able to work hands-on with technology will help them with real world application. Anyone who is looking to employ people would definitely give more weightage to a student who has studied from a university that has exposed its students to working with different softwares and devices.

Only textbook knowledge will not suffice in the real world competitive scenario. This is another big reason why it is of utmost importance that students must study from a place that offers them studies and courses that rely on modern technology.

Developmental evaluation

In order to get a true grasp of exactly where a student stands in terms of gaining knowledge understanding concepts and accepting whatever information is being imparted, technology plays a very important role.

Activities that are focused with technology in mind make sure that there is no room for error. Every step and every growth of the student can be observed and monitored with the help of technologies that can monitor critical thinking and problem solving.

Technology can also help in giving valuable feedback to help students achieve a deeper level of learning on a holistic level. In fact, it can even introduce students to areas that they were completely unaware about.

In Conclusion

On the whole, it can be said that the role of technology is ever growing when it comes to studying abroad; it truly opens multiple doors and avenues that people probably did not have any idea about. It is great not only as a tool to grow your knowledge base but also facilitates in finding jobs.

Is IELTS Compulsory for Foreign Education?

Loading

This is a question that has haunted many a students for a very long time. Being in this business of Foreign Education for almost 17 years now, we have seen practically all the scenarios in which students get accepted or rejected for their student visas.

In all of our experience we have found one thing to be the gospel truth: IELTS score card is an extremely important document to attach in your visa application. While there are a few colleges that do waive off the IELTS requirement, one has to understand that this is a very rare possibility.

But the IELTS is not just a process to obtain a visa. IELTS is an examination that can help you in more ways than one. Regardless of whether you are planning to study abroad, work there or simply migrate for other reasons, IELTS is something that will help you understand exactly where you stand in terms of your language proficiency.

Studying for the IELTS

Essentially, the IELTS is an examination that tests your proficiency in English. By analyzing the scores of this exam, the immigration department basically understands whether you are proficient enough in English to study in their country or even to hold a job.

Please understand that you have to start looking at this examination as more than just an entrance. It is almost the only way you will be able to sustain yourself in a foreign country once you land there. We, as humans, rely on language for all our needs.

How can you hope to survive in a new land unless you can communicate and learn new things while explaining your own requirements, etc. This is why it is of utmost importance that you treat the IELTS exam very seriously and don’t look at it as a hurdle.

When you prepare for you IELTS, please make sure that you pay attention to all four aspects of getting proficient in the language including:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Speaking
  • Listening

We have a dedicated blog on each one of these sections so take a look at those for further details.

Study Abroad

If you are planning to study abroad and get an undergraduate or a post graduate degree, you must take the Academic IELTS. In case, however, you are looking for short term programs that do not award a degree then you can also go for the General Training IELTS.

If you are going to a different country as a student, then you must keep in mind that you should aim for a high score because you will be undertaking the entire course in English. So, to understand the study material and the course syllabus, you will be required to know the language well.

Work Abroad

Being able to provide a proof of your language proficiency goes a long way in helping you get a visa to work abroad. Please understand that when you go to a new country and start working there, you will need to communicate with people in English. Unless you can prove that you will be able to do that fairly well, there is no point for anyone to give you a visa.

For this reason, make sure that you aim to get a good score. You have to have either ‘competent’ English or ‘vocational’ English language skills, which means it definitely has to be more than just basics.

Immigration

If you are looking to apply for permanent residency or citizenship of a country, then the government authorities definitely look at your language proficiency. Language is a very important aspect of associating people with the land.

So, if you want to prove that you are worthy of being called the citizen of a new country, you have to first prove your competence in their language. IELTS test scores are a universally accepted result and helps governments establish how well you can integrate yourself with the new community and work environment.

Learning the right way

Now that you know how important IELTS is, it is also important for you to understand what the best way to learn for IELTS is. While it would be really nice to have a few short cuts up your sleeve, when it comes to language, which is such a practical aspect of our lives, it is hard to make adjustments.

You have to work quite hard to ensure that you can speak, write, read and comprehend the language with a certain degree of comfort.  Focus on the study material that we provide and seek our IELTS faculty for any assistance that you might need. If you put in your best efforts, you should clear the IELTS with flying colors.

IELTS Writing: Important Tips To Get You Extra Points!

Loading

Writing is perhaps the most difficult section of the IELTS examination. This is a section that truly tests your mettle with respect to the language. In order to make sure that you can score well in this section, you will have to put in a whole lot of effort and practice as much as you can.

But apart from all the sheer hard work, there are a few tips and tricks that can help you get a few extra points and prevent you from losing some.

Before we delve into the tips, it is important for you know that the objective of testing your writing prowess is to determine how well you understand the language and how comfortable you are with constructing sentences to make sense.

To achieve this, you have to continuously update your vocabulary. Now, evolving your vocabulary doesn’t necessarily mean using difficult and big words. However, you should have the exact word that denotes a particular sentiment or action.

Let us now, take a look at the tips:

Quality Resource

Unless you read good stuff there is no way that you can write good stuff. So, before you start practicing how to write you have to find quality content for reference and then keep reading it. Today is the day and age of the internet. You can easily find a host of different things easily by conducting a simple online search.

So, find for yourself a bunch of good articles and essays, red them understand them, identify the kind of approach that different writers have used and then try to implement it in your own writing. It might seem to be a little difficult initially but you will be just fine when you continue to do so for a while.

Understand the Rules

While the rules of the writing section are pretty simple and very clear it is easy to overlook them when you are in the flow of writing. To prevent this from happening make sure that you have a very clear idea of the rules before the paper itself.

For the most part, these are the basic guidelines:

  • The essay should be of minimum 250 words
  • There has to be a conclusion
  • The introduction should be roughly 40 words

Apart from this the basic rule is to ensure that you understand the tempo of the question.  Are they asking you your opinion or are they seeking for pros and cons? Make sure that you approach the question in the form that the question has been asked and is expected to be answered.

Practice test topics

You can find a host of different mock tests online. Take them up and start practicing how to write. The best way to go about it is to have a faculty who can not only provide you with the topic, but who can also time you and then correct your paper so that you know exactly where you stand.

Our team of IELTS coaches has some of the best and the most experienced minds in the industry. Feel free to reach out to us to undertake training or to appear for different mock tests when you like.

Describing data

This is probably something that can seem like an ominous feat but doesn’t have to be so. Describing graphs and pie charts is very intimidating if you don’t know how to do it. Of course, there are very simple ways of treating data such that writing them is not at all cumbersome.

At Rao Consultants, we have some of the most distinguished experts from the industry who give you their knowledge and tips on how you can interpret and write data in the best possible way so that you can score very well very easily.

Treat time with care

It is easy to lose track of time when you are writing. Especially if you aren’t comfortable with the language. But don’t worry. The only way you will ever start writing well within the given time is by taking mock tests.

Make it a habit to write at least 4 essays every day. Also, make sure that you follow the basic format of the essay. Once you get the hang of it, it should not be difficult for you to keep writing at all. The most important thing to do here is to read the question carefully. Read it twice. Make sure that you understand what the question attempts to know from you. IF you do that, there is no way that you will not succeed.

IELTS Listening Section: Top Tips

Loading

IELTS is a mandatory exam for which you must appear in case you are planning to migrate overseas. This exam has four basic sections:

  • Speaking
  • Reading
  • Listening
  • Writing

When someone is trying to test your knowledge of a language it is important that you have the basic understanding of all these 4 areas. This is why there are different bands given as score when you appear for the IELTS. Each band is representative of a category of students where you fall in, for example, are you outstanding in English with a superior fluency or do you have all the basic skills in the language but can’t call yourself a poet in that language.

We have already covered the sections pertaining to speaking and reading in the IELTS section, so, in this blog, we will try to focus on giving you some tips to increase your score in the Listening section of the IELTS examination.

Read all instructions carefully

This is probably something that everyone has been telling your right from day you appeared for your first examination in school. And yet, people falter in these basic and elementary instructions. Please note that it is entirely possible that you overlook some important points when attempting the paper. So, make sure that you give your instructions a thorough read.

Listen carefully

Well, it’s a listening test, so that is something that you have to do. Please note that the audio that you will be made to listen to will most likely be a dialogue between two people in a very common situation. So, look for phrases, catch words and other such highlights.

Also, give your question paper a quick look so that you know which section to pay attention to when you start appearing for the paper.

Write in rough

In the reading section, writing the answers in rough and then transferring them to the answer paper is a waste of time, however, when it comes to the listening section, that is exactly what you must do. When you are listening to the audio, you will probably not have enough time to pay attention to your handwriting and spelling mistakes.

So, make sure that when you are listening to the audio, jot down the answers in your question paper and then transfer them to the answer paper. Don’t worry; it should not be a problem, because you will have an additional 10 minutes to write your answer after the audio stops.

Check your grammar and spellings

You’ve all this way and answered correctly. It wouldn’t be nice if you lost out on points just because you wrote the wrong spelling or did not check the grammar. Remember, it is very important to read the answers correctly and answer only in the same way the questions have been asked.

When you note down your answers in rough, do not copy them word for word from the rough to the fair copy. Make sure that you check your grammar and take a look at the spelling that you have used. A good trick to do this is to learn the spellings of some common words. It is also a great way of increasing your vocabulary.

Get the right training

Many a time people feel that there is no need for specialized training for the listening section of the IELTS exam, but you could not be further away from the truth if you think so. There is a specific format in which questions are asked and in which you are expected to answer.

The more you practice under the right kind of guidance, the better it will be for you. This is why we suggest all our students to undertake as much practice as you can with our expert faculty. Understanding the system enables students to anticipate the answers and fare well with respect to scores.

What should you listen to?

As a rule of thumb, if you want to improve your language skills, you have to make sure that you listen to the language a lot. The best way to do that is to listen to music. Music sticks to the brain. If you like a particular tune, you will continue to hum it.

Now, in order to hum it right, you will have to memorize the lyrics or to find out what the singer is saying. This not only improves your grasp over the language but gives you a good idea about how the word is actually spoken and what it means.

Tips to score high in the IELTS Reading Section

Loading

IELTS is one of the most important exams that you must appear for when you aim to study abroad. This is why you must make sure that you attempt to score as high as you possibly can. The Exam has 4 basic sections:

  • Speaking
  • Reading
  • Listening
  • Writing

In the previous blog, we gave a few pointers on how you can better your speaking skills. This one is aimed at helping you get your Reading skills better. Often, people assume that reading is the easiest of all the tasks. After all, the passage is right in front of you and you have to find answers from it. However, there is a little catch to this. Reading is not something that you have to undertake at leisure.

It is a difficult task when you have to look for exact answers from a limited paragraph within a stipulated time. If not done correctly you may end up losing out on crucial points. Before we get down to the tips on how you can get a higher score, let us look at the different types of questions that you will get in the reading section:

  • Matching tasks
  • Gap filling tasks
  • Classification tasks
  • Short-answer questions
  • Multiple choice questions
  • Sentence completion tasks
  • True/false/not given questions
  • Chart, table or diagram completion tasks

Let us now examine the different ways in which you can score higher.

Be mindful of time

Time is the scantiest resource while attempting the IELTS examination. There’s a lot of information that you have available and very little time for you to actually be able to read the whole passage and then answer everything.

The best way to go about this is to make sure that you don’t start reading with a blank mind. The first step is to understand the questions that are being asked and then start reading. When you do that, you will be able to look for answers when you start reading.

While in theory, it sounds easy, this might take some getting used to. Our faculty has been handling IELTS coaching for a very long time now and they would be in the perfect position to give you some mock practice tests so that you can get your grip on this method of answering.

Scan and Skim

It is good to be able to read the whole thing in totality, but what’s even better is to be able to skim through the document and scan the potential answers without having to spend a lot of time in trying to analyze and read the entire paragraph.

Do not waste time in reading every word that is there in the paragraph. Start reading the major words in the sentence and derive a general sense of what is being said. That will allow you to locate your information quickly.

Practice reading faster

Reading takes longer than usual if you are unfamiliar with different words. This is why it is a must that you practice reading on a daily basis. Dedicate a couple of hours each day towards reading. This will increase your vocabulary and also your reading speed.

Cozy up with a nice book that you find interesting and get cracking. While reading your choice of books as well, try to scan a few pages so that you know if you are understanding the subject matter when you scan the content or not.

Don’t panic

We hate to see students get all worried about the reading sections just because they don’t understand a word or two. There is absolutely no reason to panic. Try to derive the meaning of the sentence by understanding the context of the sentence preceding it and following it.

In a paragraph, no word is going to be treated in an isolated sense. This is why if you can grasp the general feel of what is being said, it should not be difficult for you to understand the context and the meaning of the word.

Some difficult words are in fact a different form of a root word. Try breaking the word up and seeing if it makes any sense. If not, just rely on the context. That should be enough.

On the whole

The practice is the only way that you can increase your speed of reading as well as an understanding of the subject matter. Make sure that you practice regularly so that you can continue to grow. Even though your objective is to score the maximum in IELTS, reading is a practice that will help you grow as an individual as well.

What Are Your Chances Of Getting Canada PR?

Loading

Going to Canada is a dream that many of us harbor. Owing to its many policies and standard of living, Canada is truly the choice of everyone who seeks a better life these days. But in spite of the fact that the country has made immigration extremely simple for the people, there are certain points that make it very difficult for a common student or citizen to make their way there.

So, if you have been worried about what your chances towards a successful PR application are, here’s how you can determine your chances of getting a Canada PR.

CRS

CRS is short for Comprehensive Ranking System. This is essentially a tool that helps you understand exactly where you stand with respect to the number of points needed to enter Canada. There are a few different factors that are taken into consideration when it comes to building your CRS profile. While there are some things that add positively to the profile, there are others that affect it very negatively as well.

Let us take a look at each of these factors and understand how we can improve the scores.

IELTS

Ideally you should attempt to score as high as you can. A score around an 8 or a 7 will get you the best odds. But don’t worry if you have been faltering slightly. There is nothing that good planning and practice can’t overcome.

Take a couple of mock tests so that you know where you stand. We have some of the best IELTS faculty in the city who can help you achieve great scores easily. They also prepare you by giving you mock tests on regular intervals.

Educational Qualification

Having a good degree is always a plus. If you have a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree then your chances of getting higher points. However, the World Education Services will first check whether your qualification is equivalent to their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

In case the WES (World Education System) doesn’t find you to have the degree from a tier 3 university or college, it might not consider your qualification at all. A degree adds crucial points to your application score so make sure that you have the right documents to show for yourself.

Age: Every year beyond the age of 30, applicants will lose 5 points. So if you are planning to apply at a later date, then be sure to keep this mind.

Work Experience

This is a slightly tricky field to work with. Now, please note that when you apply for the PR, Canada does not consider your cumulative experience. Your experience as to be in one field for the mentioned duration of time.

For example, if you have been in HR for 2 years but then shifted to marketing and did that for about 3 years, you cannot say that your experience is of 5 years. You will have to choose 1 field and only mention the total experience in that one.

Basically, your job classification must remain the same as denoted by your NOC. So, choose the one that you think suits your qualities best and you have done for a longer duration and then attach that NOC across the board for your application.

Spouse

Your spouse does not have to take the IELTS mandatorily or even mention the educational credentials. However, if you do that, it might reflect positively for you. In fact, you might even try an alternative approach.

If your spouse is younger than you and has a higher degree from a reputable university or college, you might consider making them the primary applicant and present yourself as the dependent or spouse. This will get you higher points and make your journey simpler.

There are lots of things that can be done to ensure that you can successfully make your way to your dream country. If you have any doubts or queries, you must not hesitate in contacting us for the same.  One thing that you must always take care of is that you can only apply for a Canada PR through a Canadian government authorized ICCRC member.

Types of Accommodation when you Study Abroad

Loading

Deciding where you want to study is one of the biggest decisions that you have to make. But once you have made that, the battle isn’t over. There are many other things associated with studying abroad that you must consider when you have made the decision.

One of the most important things to think about is accommodation. Many colleges offer boarding and living facilities along with their course programs. However, there are a few that don’t. What do you do in those cases?

There are a few different types of accommodation that you can consider. Let us take a look at them.

Dormitory

A dormitory is like a hostel where many students live together in rooms put together along the sides of huge corridors and passageways. There is a common eating area. You usually have your own private room and bathroom or you might have to share it with another roommate. Usually in dormitories, you are provided with a lockable cupboard where you can keep your belongings.

Dormitories are usually located on campus or very close to the campus. This means that you don’t really have to spend money on traveling to the college at all. What’s more, since it is a type of boarding aimed at providing for students, it is very cost effective.

Shared Apartment

This is another very common type of accommodation preferred by students. Such accommodations are easy to find and often give the student their own private space in an apartment which is shared by other students as well.

You can have your own private room and share common areas such as bathrooms, kitchen and garden. However, if there are more numbers of students in your apartment, you can even share the rooms to make it more cost effective.

Since you can decide how many people want to share the apartment, it is usually the cheapest form of accommodation available for students studying abroad. Most students studying abroad prefer such accommodations.

Private Apartment

This is perhaps the costliest of all options. This gives you the independence and freedom of living by yourself however; it definitely comes at a higher cost. You have to bear the entire cost of living and maintaining your home.

Home Stay

This is another option that quite a few students prefer to explore. This is, in fact, the perfect way to experience the real culture and the social behavior patterns of the people in the country that you are visiting.
