Canada’s Immigration Minister – Sean Fraser is prepared to increase Canada’s immigration levels if it is necessary to address current labour shortages in Canada.

Canada’s Immigration Minister – Sean Fraser is looking forward to inviting 4,11,000 immigrants to Canada in 2022. A booming rise of invitations has been expected to surge the following year. He also addressed in a recent interview that if needed, he is also planning to increase the number of invitations even more in order to fulfil the jobs shortage in Canada.
According to the data, approximately 46,000 immigrants landed in Canada in the month of October, which is considered to be 0.5% of the total. By next year, this figure is expected to get an increase of twice the percent of the figure landed this year. In 2021, in the gap of 11 months, Canada has already invited approximately 3.5 lakh immigrants, and they expect to invite more than 43,000 immigrants in the month of December.
